Finished Pictures!

Aundrea

Aundrea was the second person I took photos of. Her tattoo says 'Far Away Places" in Taiwanese, and I'm still trying to figure out how to contrast that with another photo. Possibly far off buildings or something.

Evan

Evan is the first person I took pictures of for my concentration. I have yet to figure out what I am going to contrast his pictures with, but I am working on editing the current pictures I have of him.

Week 4.

This past weekend I took photos of Evan and his yin-yang tattoo, and Aundrea, with her Taiwanese words. I took the pictures of Evan in front of the river, sitting on an outcropping of rocks. I still have no idea what to do with the other side of his picture. I took the pictures of Aundrea near the twin tunnels, on a viewpoint. I think that, since her tattoo says "far away places" the other side of her picture will probably be of a window, or a mode of travel, or possibly buildings or something off in the distance.

                - I could take it from the base, with the bark in focus, and the leaves blurred. Or on the thirds line, with it on top of the hill, and it being the main focal point, with really high contrast against the sky and ground.

Week 3

I have spent this whole week planning. I plan to take pictures this weekend. I plan to do my two, Ernie's, my Dads, Aundreas, possibly Jordans, and possibly Savvy's. I have been having a hard time coming up with a plan for the other side of the photo, but I've started coming up with a few ideas. The two that are the hardest for me to come up with a plan for are Aundreas and Ernies. Since their tattoos are not images, but words, and in another langauge. I need to figure out a way to convey the words meanings in the other picture. I have a fairly locked down, well thought out plan for most of my pictures, and there counter parts. However, I still need to find a few more tattoos. But this weekend, I'm going to focus on taking photos of what I have locked down right now.

I wish I could take pictures as cool as these...

Week One.

I tried to take photos for my concentration last week. But none of my photos turned out well. My camera wouldn't focus, and I only had two things to take a picture of: my tattoo, and my ftahers tattoo. I tried to take many pictures of both, but none of them turned out even remotely okay looking. I need to have a list on lock for whose tattoos I am going to take photos of, and what I want to contrast them with. But really, the ones I tried to take last week...awful:
