For my concentration, I want to contrast a photo of a tattoo, with a harder, real life counterpart, as shown in a diptych. I want the juxtaposition and contrast to be extreme, but them to be unified by the same subject matter. For example, if I was to take a photo of a sun tattoo, I would have the other photo be that of a carved sun, or a glass sun.
What I like about these photos is how the tattoo is obviously the main subject, but everything else is equally beautiful in the photo. Like, the last one with the feather, the feather is in the very center, with all the attention, but the ladies back is gorgeous, and the photo reflects that. The artsists definitely upped the contrast, and played around with macro, burnt the edges. I want to work with all of these.
What specifically do you like about these images? What kind of editing do you think the artists did? Looking forward to new picturs soon!
